KORG DW 8000 HQ DEMO - SYNTHESIZER 1985
YouTube via AnalogAudio1
"The KORG DW-8000 "digital waveform synthesizer" came out 1985 and was the 'deluxe' version of the smaller DW-6000. DW stands for "digital waveform".
The KORG DW-8000 has 8 notes polyphony, 16 waveforms, a velocity sensitive keyboard with programmable aftertouch, auto-bend, an arpeggiator and a digital delay unit. The Digital Delay offers up to 512ms delay, phasing, flanging, chorusing and other time effects.
The DW8000 has been used by Juno Reactor, Depeche Mode, Dream Theater, Joe Zawinul, and Keith Emerson.
In this clip I played the DW-8000 dry, without any external effects."
