"As you can see I have added a replacement potentiometer for EG 2. This is housed outside of the synth because I wasn't able to locate a replacement that would fit between the PCB and the faceplate. As a workaround I put the potentiometer in it's own housing and connected a few leads to the PCB. This works flawlessly with the bonus of added elegance"

ReplyDeletehaha :) very !
ReplyDeleteoh wow.
ReplyDeleteit looks quite funny - any chance to hear what difference that makes ?
ReplyDeletefail
ReplyDeleteI have a ms-20 that has the hp AND lp cutoffs seized up.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to find potentiometers that will be good drop-in replacements either.
But certainly don't want to go this hideous route.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
