Waldorf's supersynths instill in me a lust like no other synth can. I hope that, when the recession is over, they will eventually get back to making feature rich hardware products like their Q and XTk keyboards.
ReplyDeleteFrom both a feature and implementation point of view, they were very far ahead of the curve. Bad marketing doomed them, though.

ReplyDelete@Mr. Array - Well, you can still buy a brand new Q Phoenix Edition, although they may be a little hard to find. But much more exciting to me is the Stromberg. I'm hoping they sell loads of Blofelds so they can make my Stromberg. If you like the Q and XTk, check out the Stromberg. Save your pennies, though. It won't be cheap.
