ILAB Report: Arturia Origin V 1.1 Sneak Peek
YouTube via iloveanalogue
"Recently, I spent some time with Sean from Arturia in Austin, TX,
Where he demonstrated some of the new features of the latest update
Of their Origin synthesizer. One of the cool new features is the ability
To fully emulate a Leslie rotating speaker and even introduce some
Tube distortion.
This is a very compelling addition for organ players in the rock, pop,
Jazz, or country genres, as the Origin is far lighter (and easier on the
Back) than these wood and metal behemoths.

"Check out Origin, the most powerful synthesizer on the planet"
ReplyDelete"Now 1.1, with tone-wheels and a leslie"
ha ha
Anyone own one of these things? How is it working out for you?
I would personally never use the organ sounds, but there are a lot of people that would, and that can replace an aging, back breaking organ setup with something small and reliable like the Origin.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I own one, but for the analogue synth sounds.
