Incredible organic sound. Matrix Modulation programmability. Extremely versatile MIDI implementation (per voice if you wish). Interfaces with all your vintage CV gear and even functions as a CV-MIDI convertor! In Excellent Condition as revealed in the pictures. All internal self-tests pass (see test picture). All displays function 100% and are very bright. Every switch and encoder knob works fine. This is one of the finer USA built models. I have read the user manual from top to bottom but have'nt had the time to do much with it other than tweak a few patches to layer with my Digital Sampler/Synthesizer which makes for some truly incredible sound. If you're looking for a piece of gear that you can use to define your sound, this is it!
Please do a web search if you need any more info. There are a lot of free patches, information, etc. available from gazillions of websites that will keep you supported. I have downloaded quite a bit and can supply that to you if needed.
Listing this was a difficult decision but I really need the cash at the moment to complete another project. I will be looking for another one in the not to distant future! Fourtunately I have a Matrix-6 that will keep me amused for the time being...
Included is a power cable, 2 MIDI cords, Oberheim Xpander User and Service manuals and Xpander MIDI Specification document and some misc. info from the Xpander User Group (XUG); Tips, Tricks and HW modifications, etc.
