Very interested in the Akai XR20 myself, but i've heard rumours regarding it's ability to stay in sync when MIDI sync'd to another drum machine or DAW. Can anybody confirm or deny this that has had experience with this machine.
ReplyDeletei recently purchased a Zoom 'StreetBoxx' SB246 and found that it loses midi sync after only a couple of bars when sync'd with my ER1 or RY30, which renders it useless to me for anything other than as a 'sound module'.
i do not want this to also be the case with the Akai XR20, but as i said it is rumoured to be so, and i do not wish to spend money on another machine that just does not do what it should.
