"The trigger is actually a speaker (see pic) so the volume is relative to how hard you hit the drum pad, just like a real drum... One of the coolest features is that you can strike the drum then turn the knobs, morphing the sounds making them sound out of this world.
We would frequently run this through an echo and reverb to really trick it out, any stomp box will work.
The drummer can also set a particularly unique sound effect then work it into the beat and it will change the whole dynamic of the song.Great for a psych rock band but you don't have to be radiohead to get the best out of this as the sounds range from psychedelic to something you'd hear in dance music."
