"Sequential Circuits Multitrak. I have replaced the battery and also did the battery drain fix modification so that the new battery will last 7 years instead of 3 months, you can see the picture of the battery mod i did. It is a common problem on most multitrak's the battery drains in less than 3 months. I also got a brand new custom made power supply built for the multitrak. These power supplies are not made anymore, they are rare and hard to find and to get a brand new one made would cost at least $200. I had mine built from a professional technician."

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I found your blog. I'm also in need of a power supply for a Multi-Trak. I don't suppose you could open that metal box and give me the manufacturer name and part number off the transformer. Wine Country sequential gave me the specs, but I'm having difficulty finding the correct one through any of the parts suppliers online.
Specs I got from Wine Country:
Input: 120VAC, 60Hz, 25W
Output: 15 VAC, 1162mA; with Center Tap (C.T.)
5-pin DIN/Pin Outs: Pins #1 & #5 = AC, Pin #3 = C.T.
okay, i think i've found it. according to another thread about the SC TOM, I see the transformer is 7.5-0-7.5 (1162mA/2). I almost went 15-0-15!
