"CarWash" - on Yamaha PSR-78

YouTube via organfairy — June 16, 2010 —

"Normally I make the music first and then record the video. This time it was the other way round: About a year ago I wondered how a carwash would look from the inside of the car. So the next time I took my Suzuki to the carwash I placed the camera inside the car before starting the wash.....thing.

I didn't really know what to do with that recording but then I got the idea to play the old 1970's classic "Carwash". Another unusuality is the inclusion of a sax solo in the arrangement. I hope you don't mind.

Apart from the foghorn I used a Yamaha PSR-78, a Roland E-15, the Technics SX-C600 organ, and the Böhm Station one."

  1. This was just too brilliant! A very sincere choice of sounds lays an endearing tribute to the titular film.
