Yawn.
ReplyDeleteYeah kids or adults with little fingers will love it but for the rest of us, lets have a proper synth please Korg not toys!
ReplyDeleteI think they are aiming this at kids, students, or cramped apartment dwellers. Not hard case synth fanatics.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, meh.
I wish they'd just get on with it and release a big boy version of the monotron with 3 octave full size keys, couple of oscillators, lots of knobs, midi/usb and patch storage. Nothing fancy, no effects, no gimmicks, just a good old fashioned analog synth ala MS20 for the 21st century.
ReplyDeleteGiven how long the Monotron is taking to get to North America, I wouldn't hold my breath about anything new from Korg being released anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd now apparently Korg and Roland are competing for lamest new synthesizer promotional video. What is wrong with these marketing teams?! Between this and the Lucina videos, I'm starting to understand why the general population thinks Synths are lame...
