Oberheim DMX vintage drum machine w/ factory midi

"Oberheim DMX with midi up for grabs. It is in excellent condition and has the original "MIDI" plate on it from Oberheim."

Anyone know if the MIDI label next to DMX is a sticker or painted on? Curious what they would have done in factory.

To answer your question - the MIDI badge is actually aluminium!
