The Hollywood school is known for offering state-of-the-art instruction on the latest in music technology.“Most of our students are too young to have experimented with a lot of hardware synths, they typically have more experience with synth plug-ins and soft-synths. But, the user interface on soft synths tend to be clunky and unintuitive, requiring students to use a mouse to turn a knob,” says Kevin Comstock, head of the Keyboard Technology Department at Musicians Institute. “With the Gaia, our students get immediate aural and tactile gratification, which helps to solidify their programming skills, allowing them to quickly create one-of-a-kind, usable sounds much faster than they could otherwise.”
