Are Friends Electric by Gary Numan - live performance by Hyperdust

"I'm really enjoying working out cover songs on my synths of classic early 80's electro tracks. I think this one came out really well - Are Friends Electric? by Gary Numan and the Tubeway Army. Beats are on Korg Electribe with the fantastic synth line on my Moog Voyager Old School. I saw a video of the Tubeway Army playing on The Old Grey Whistle Test and it looked like they were playing the main synth line on a MiniMoog, so it should sound right."

Very nice :) Which Electribe did you use?
ReplyDeleteIt's the pink Electribe SX - sampler. I was unsure to start with about it, but I've got to really like it. With the hands on knobs you can pitch samples add filter, effects real quick.
