This one is listed as "Logan LE Organ/String Synth." Anyone know if it actually has string sounds?

That depends on your definition of "string sounds". It has two presets referring to strings - the yellow buttons - but they are not the phase modulated "oxygen"-type strings. They are simply a square wave passed through a high-pass filter with no modulation at all. In other Words a thin buzzing sound.
