Yah MOOG Be There (Moog bass along) & Michael Jackson's Pretty Young Thing

"Another Minimoog Bass along video.
Originally played by James Ingram.

The arrangement is pretty much te same.
I have only added accoustic drums ontop of the Linndrum beat.
There's a coda that takes it back to the bridge and then to the outro which is the instrumental bit rearranged.
I turn the Minimoog up an octave to switch from bass to lead.
I have only used one oscillator on the Minimoog.

The Simmons tom fills are from the new Reel Machines AD-Pack from XLN-Audio.
The Linndrum, which kicks off the track, is my own Linndrum, which sounds more convincing than the Reel Machine samples.

The Prophet-5 was also used."

Michael Jackson P.Y.T. (pretty young thing) Moog Bass along

Geeljasjes | November 19, 2010 |

"My second MJ bass along video.

The backing track I made using Logic.
The funk guitar is coming out of an old Korg TR-Rack.
The Rock guitar is coming out of Garageband.
The drums are Addictive Drums by XLN-Audio.
The vocoder is Logic's EVOC20, which is alright, but not like the classic Roland, Bode, Sehneiser or Synthon vocoders.
Some Prophet-5 used in here as well.

Enjoy and may the groove be with you!!!"
