Commuter Entertainment part 2

flickr By mattomatto

"Jan 21 - Friday evening is the last commute of the week (at least work related) so today's photo is of another device I occasionally use on the train. It's a Korg Kaossilator synthesizer which I try to play. I usually use this with different headphones which will be revealed in part 3 of this mini series."

  1. I recently referred to these as "The quickest way to get bored with about $150."

I'll give them this: They sound unique.

The problem is: You always know when someone is using one.

I can't remember which one it was, the horn patch, A22 or something. I about ate a shotgun slug.

I hope whoever enjoys using them continues to do so, it really just wasn't my kind of machine. Maybe I'll try battery power on my Electribes.

Though I hear the "pro," models are a lot more useable, saveable, and lightable.
