"SynthFest is an event dedicated to the DIY Synthesiser Community, which is scheduled to take place as part of the Maker Faire 2011 at the Centre for Life, Newcastle upon Tyne on Saturday, 12th March 2011.The idea behind SynthFest is to introduce DIY enthusiasts and members of the public to electronic musical instruments - synths, samplers, drum machines, modular equipment and hacked toys as well as DIY boxes and software. Hence, we're looking for Synth DIY enthusiasts and Constructors to help us put on a show that people will remember for a long time to come.
