"This is a rare transitional ARP Odyssey 2800 MkI synth with black and gold face. Made in the U.S.A. by ARP Instruments, Inc., Newton, Mass. This final production run of the popular MkI featured many of the modules that would be used in the MkII. These transitional MkI’s replaced the original ‘white face’ top with the black and gold color scheme that would be used in the MkII’s."
