Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 for sync lead solo. I love that he continues to play vintage gear live. He could easily use modern gear. He has genuine appreciation for vintage synths. Rendez-Vous is one of the albums that initially got me into synths. Most of what I was listening to at the time had synths mixed in, but this was all synth. I remember lying in bed, eyes closed with headphones on listing to all the intricacies and textures in the album. It's been ages since I've had the time to listen to music like that. When's the last time you did?

  1. I distinctly remember the last time I listened to music like that: on the release of Jane Siberry's When I Was a Boy in 1993. Too long ago.
