Prototype OUTER CASE for SEQUENTIAL TOM DRUMCOMPUTER?

via this auction
via the listing:
"A complete outer case for Sequential's TOM drumcomputer. The front panel bears a sticker "PROTOTYPE", which obviously means it was the first one ever made. I can of course not supply a certificate that confirms this, but this is how it was found in Sequential's stock room after the company died. I see no reason to doubt this. After all, someone there labelled it like this and there can be only one reason why that was done."
