Thompson Twins 3 Octave Rosewood Orchestral Xylophone

For sale via Jackson:
"This instrument was custom built in the mid 80's for the Thompson Twins by an unknown source (probably someone at premier) and has been in storage since the band dismembered.

It was originally modified to be used as a live midi controller/trigger device but i have no way of testing if the contacts still work because they connect to a serial port (which must of connected to a rack mounted box that transformed the trigger signals into midi). The instrument is housed in its large (110 by 160cm) Flightcase.

the instrument as it is in great shape for its age and plays very nicely with only a few minor scratches on the wooden side slats. The rosewood keys are in excellent condition.

Collection from Southwark, South London
Feel free to message me any questions you may have." bassweight at googlemail.com
