"Another wicked Kawai drum machine.... This one's got the infamous R-100 Rom, with rock-solid Synthethic Drums and Percussion.

Sounds and Beats instantly recognizable to fans of Wax-Trax and generally anyone who listened to music in the late 80's / Early 90's.

Loads of Mods on this machine, including some really filthy Distortion."

"My Favourite Digital Drum Machine, the KAWAI R-50e. Pure Synthethic Drums, and instantly recognizable Hits and Bass."

Update:

Squidfanny - Circuit Bent KAWAI R-50e Drum Machine (Electronic ROM) july 2011

Uploaded by squidfanny on Jul 14, 2011

"Glitch Drums, Busted Beats, Digital Slap Bass and the infamous 'Fairlight Orchestral Hit'.

Loads of mods, designed for performance....

The R-50e is one of the greatest Drum Machines ever made, and an under-rated hero of the 1980's.
It was regulaly used in 100's of movie soundtracks including the original 'Terminator' movie & 'Robocop'. Early Manga movies all loved the r-50e and electronic music owes much to the Hits and samples contained within this innocent looking drum Machine.

Do you want one??? Well you'll have to fight me on ebay!!"
