"From many suggestions, we are improving the Control Pad and we will introduce the Control Pad mkII in our next major update of Rhythm Studio.
Here are some of the improvements:
The touch surface span the entire width of the device now. This will allow you to play more notes and it will also spread out some scales.
An erase button was added so that you can erase any mistakes when you record live.
The SCALE option was moved to the SETTINGS view to streamline the design."
