threnody: september eleventh
Todd Barton, aka vgermuse, sent in a piece he composed four days after September 11, 2001. It was composed entirely in Metasynth. You can find it here. Let the player load and hit play.
I want to thank Todd for sending this in. Sometimes words can't capture what this day means to everyone across the globe.

A very inspired tribute : no useless pathos but a music perfectly adapted to the terrible events with dignity and respect. May I also suggest the John Adam's orchestral composition : On the transmigation of souls and New York, Tears and Hope (In memory of the victims of 9/11), for orchestra, op 65 by Bechara El-Khoury, a great lebanese composer.
