via this auction"The Kadi Interface was installed about 10 years ago to address the 808 with MIDI and the Kenton Pro-KADI Unit. I [the seller] chose this option because it was the least intrusive modification nessasary to accomplish my musical goals. A Pro KADI unit can be purchased new for around $250.00 and will essentially "midify" this unit for you. However, as can be seen in the video below [above], the machine will function normally without it.
