"Up for auction is interesting hand made 2 channel analog drum module called - SIMMONS. It was made in eighties in Soviet Union. The title may be was associated with famous Simmons drums or may be the master was copied some Simmons circuits in creation this unit or something like that. As a result we have a black box with two identical channels of analog drum synthesis that sounds very interesting and differents from all other factory analog drum synths that i hear. Control panel parameters - trigger input sensitive, decay, tone sweep, pitch and noise controls for each channel. On the back side - two trigger inputs and line out on a standart 1/4 Jack adapters. You can trigger the synth from drum pads or from any audio out - drum machine, analog output of soundcard etc. It has very sensitive trigger inputs so you even can bridge 1/4 jack adapter by hands and you will get sounds from synth line out. The unit runs from standart 9V power adapter. This device in good working condition. Cosmetically it has some scratches of time on body but for it`s age it looks good. The unit can produce various analog drum sounds with its own character. Really good original device for electronic experiments!"
