KORG ER-1 ElecTribe Rhythm Synthesizer Drum Machine

Note how the lights cutoff on the pads in this shot but not others. Any ideas why? I thought it could be the camera catching the refresh rate, but aren't these red leds and wouldn't the pads just be on or off? Not seeing the same for the EA-1 on B.

  1. The chopped light may indeed be the camera picking up the refresh rate. Are you using an SLR? if so the chop may be due to the shutter curtain being in that part of the frame at the time the LED is switching.

  2. They aren't my pics, so not sure. It makes sense, but then wouldn't the numbers be cutoff as well?
