monome 80h 128 button array with aluminum faceplate

via this auction

"You are bidding two monome 40h kits that have been combined to form what is known as monome 80h or 128.

Please note that these are not the newer monome kits that are comprised of a logic board, a driver and a keypad rather this is the older 40h kits that are comprised of simply a logic board and a keypad.

The two kits are connected via a Belkin USB hub and have worked fine for me without a power supply connected to a MacBook Pro - however according to official specifications not all systems may be able to power two 40h units connected to a hub without power so there is a wall wort included just in case.

The faceplate of the unit is made of machined aluminum that I purchased from a forum member on monome.org - there are some blemishes on the aluminum that were created during the anodizing process.

The logic board and hub are attached a back plate made of plexiglass which is connected to the faceplate via machine screws in a sandwich style configuration - there are no sides on the unit."
