Electrix Filter Queen Analog Synth Effects Processor

via this auction
"One of the coolest analog filters ever made. Electrix was a great line from IVL back in the '90s or early '00s (unfortunately the name has been resurrected somewhat recently and put on far inferior products) and this is their Filter Queen. Not just a lesser version of the Filter Factory, in many ways it's actually better. For one it has an expression pedal input, making it ideal for guitarists. It can conjure sounds from sweet and synthy to abrasive and aggressive or simply be used for some drastic frequency sculpting, though that just barely scratches the surface.

It has, among other things: a phono input, 5 different LFO waves, envelope filtering, Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass and Notch filters, a three band crossover where any combination of highs, mids or lows can be turned on or off. The momentary switch is great for rhythmically toggling on/off. There is so much this box can do and it sounds great! It's also quite well-made; all knobs and buttons feel great and it seems pretty bullet-proof."
