Shruthi-1 Pad demo by hpsounds
"Small demo of one of my recently built Shruthi-1 synth in an unusual ambient Pad. As usual, the ValhallaShimmer reverb add a lot of lush to the sound ;-)"

This sounds really good! I really wish I knew how to solder so I could make one of these. for myself.
ReplyDeleteThanks !
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I've soldered before building the Shruthi-1 was audio jacks and cables ... I was so impressed by the sonic qualities of the Shruthi-1, the well structured OS and the open source of this project that I've bought directly 2 kits. Then, I bought a good but still very simple soldering iron and a very cheap kit to learn how to solder properly.
One of the key to succeed in building a Shruthi-1 kit is to be first VERY well organized, which means to sort all the electronic components, and to follow the VERY good tutorials on Mutable Instruments website. And also, to be very patient !
If I've done it, you certainly can do it too !
Good luke ! ;-)

Take into account also that the ValhallaDSP ValhallaShimmer reverb is half of the sound quality.
