pnortnaomi - Monolith

"The Object is split into layers that spin and react in sync with the accompanying sounds. The samples mimic the direction and speed of the slices via grain and position parameters in Machfive3. Td is set as the midi clock and Renoise then sends midi triggers to TD. Each layer has it's own LFO and modulators to move it. I didn't want to just create sound effects for the animation but have the two different elements create something new when fused together while still adopting characteristics of each other."

pnortnaomi - Midi Rig Mutator Test

"An experiment with IK's and midi. Being a novice I had never rigged anything and wanted to be able to control 3D animations via midi and made this as a test. The tentacles are rigged and weighted and are also animated via keyframes in which I control playback positions and speed via Midi notes from Reaper that trigger Lfo's in TD. Selected Imbedded IK's are converted to midi CC's that are sent to Halion4 to control various parameters like Timestretch/ Formant/ Pitch and Level to individual samples. Everything manipulates each other in real time."
