"A friend of mine has asked me to compare the two modules.
So here goes.
Are they just noise machines.?
Are these musical?
Who cares??
They are handmade beasts.
If you like britney spears (no offence to B) this module is not for you.
I found that Both are really Really hard to tame.
But possibly the makers dont intend that they "behave".
In the 1st demo of the 676
Ive got a single CV signal from the Autobot (Miami acid) , duplicated and then
plugged into the OCS1 & OSC2 inputs on the 676.
I don't think its meant to track Hz/v or 1v/oct.
The other modulation inputs respond to LFOs and envelopes.
It has 5 CV inputs
Maybe a gate triggering an envelope might produce interesting results.
The 3 switches are described as normal (up) and mayhem (down).
I think this says it it all. :-)
Its Worth future experimentation if you like stepping outside the comfort zone
Beware ..the sound may be harsh for some.
I'll compare the trog 666 next
Thanks to Matt of Rhythmactive for the Trogotronic modules"

"Ok now the 666... the number of the beast.
Im expecting the apocalypse now.
Its got 9 CV inputs.
Ive got the same single CV signal that I used with the 676.
Its from the Autobot (Miami acid) , duplicated and then
plugged into the OCS1 & OSC2 inputs.
Ive added 2 extra Cv signals from the snazzy FX.
OMG.,,, there are still 5 left unused
Lots of burp, fart and swarms of locust noises.
Thanks to Matt of Rhythmactive for the Trogotronic modules"
