"What is the Bananalogue LPFA 4075 Junior? It is an analog low pass filter for use in the Frac rack system of modular synthesizers. The design is based on the original Arp 4075 filter submodule. The 4075 was the building block of many Arp electronic music instruments such as the Odyssey, Axxe, Omni and Avatar.

About the Module

The filter has a very smooth and musical quality. It was originally designed by Arp in response to the threatened Moog lawsuit, so as you can imagine it has its own unique character. The LPFA has a 1v/oct input so it can track decently over several octaves for use as a utility sine wave oscillator when self resonating. Please note the module uses 5v signal levels, a simple 2x opamp daughter card can be added to the module for 10v signal if needed.

The front panel of the module is made of aircraft aluminum, laser engraved. The faceplates and PCB are manufactured in the USA. The module is designed to integrate fully into a Frac Rack system modular synthesizer system. The Frac Rack aka Fractional Rack aka FracRak is a system popularized and supported by PAIA, Blacet, Wiard, MOTM, Metal Box and Bananalogue. This module was redesigned as a half width, 1.5" wide - perfect for small systems, or to maximize bang for buck in your rack.

The auction includes a power cable and two mounting screws. Shipping is via USPS priority medium flat rate box.

Please see a quick demo video of the filter below (demo video is the same module but in MOTM format)"
