This is THE Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 vintage analog synthesizer owned and used extensively in studio and touring by Paul Humphreys of OMD during the 1980's. It has been used on many of OMD's greatest hits. The memory patches are loaded with original sounds created by Paul and show the virtuosity of this synth pioneer. You will never see or hear another one like it!
This synth was acquired directly from Paul Humphreys' ex-wife at the Southern California home where he lived and worked during the 1980's. It is version 3.2 and has recently been restored to perfect working condition by Audio Rehab, a top vintage synth repair shop in L.A. Cosmetically, it shows the wear you would expect from a work horse of the 80's OMD sound."
