"It passes all of the front panel diagnostics and I was able to test all ports on the back with the exception of the CV inputs as I have no way to connect to them. One thing to make clear on these quirky analog beasts- they are NOT service free. A few years back this one was exhibiting erratic parameter/knob jitter which the OS update did not remedy. I ended up sending it back to Alesis and $300 later I had it back- about all they had to do was re-seat the ribbon cables (namely, the big wide one that crosses the main PCBs). So, that was an expensive lesson to learn. Since then, I have reseated the cable once. Seems to happen just over time or if it's being moved around. The buyer should acknowledge this and accept that he/she may need to pop the hood on this unit to re-seat the cable(s) on occasion. This is a common issue and can be found in yahoo group discussions if you search for the term "pots" or "jitter" or similar. The good news is that the board layout is easy to navigate and readily accessible once opened..." As always read the full description and see all pics on eBay before bidding.
