Tested Plug and Play install on HR-16 Rev. A main PCB Board
Read the Mod Guide pdf found at [this link] before making a purchase
Specifically read the section regarding LCD installation found on pages 18 - 22
Note: This LCD has not been tested using the HR-16/HR-16B Rev.CA or Rev.AQ main board PCBs
neither of those revisions have a LCD contrast potentiometer built on board so not 100% that the contrast will be correct
It is possible to adjust the contrast on those boards according the Service Manual however it does require slight modification which means desoldering and soldering involved Refer to the HR-16/HR-16B Service Manual, a copy can be found following the link above
If you are not sure which HR-16/HR-16B board Revision you have, refer to the mod guide found at the link above and read pages 4-5
