Tons of pics at the auction and below including two ad scans and some of the inside. Check out the solder traces. Auction description: "For your consideration is this vintage 1978 ARP 2600 series "2601" analog synthesizer and matching "3620" keyboard. This particular set, both with matching serial numbers (0837), is in very good all original condition and includes the original cases, owner's manual, patch cables, and the original power cable. The ARP 2600 is considered the absolute benchmark in compact analog semi-modular synthesis. Extremely versatile, and capable of producing a seemingly indefinite amount of both classic and modern synth sounds, the 2600 has become the standard by which other synths are measured. Some sellers ask upward of $9,000.00 for comparable synths, but we decided to offer this example to the highest bidder, with a $.01 Minimum, No Reserve, Free USA Shipping, and discounted Worldwide delivery! So place a bid now, because this synth will be sold to the highest bidder... regardless of price!

Though not in pristine cosmetic condition, this is a fantastic specimen for a player looking to acquire a fully functional unit. It was recently purchased from the original owner, who actually owned 3 different 2600s, and was maintained and serviced by him throughout his lengthy ownership. At one point, the synth was mounted alongside his others in a fabricated rack unit, but to do so, it required that he added (4) small square perforations through the corners of the front panel. Aside from that, some of the fastening hardware was misplaced and replaced with alternate washers. One voltage processor slider is missing the plastic tip, and another is broken off, both of which function correctly. The 3620 keyboard is in great shape, works perfectly, and has nicely aligned tempered action.

This last version of the 2600 is rare, and while some prefer the sound of the early examples, this final generation was result of stabilizing some of the more inconsistent modules. This also makes it practical for studio use, and plug-in-and-play activity."
