Micromac-d casebuild

Micromac-d casebuild by macbeth synthesizers
"Whilst fitting up the Micromac-D for test within the casing that I’ve been given a sample of…I tested the unit for sound- It’s sounding fabulous! I couldn’t resist recording this track. I plugged the CV OUT into the Voltage in of LFO2. LFO2 is set to a ramp wave. LFO1 is set to S&H and it’s sampling LFO2 as it’s sample source. LFO1 is gating the synthesizer. What you hear from the start is Oscillator 1 and 3 in the left and right channels direct into the right and left. The filtered synthesiser mix is brought up shortly after. Resonance is pretty high here adding some real squelchyness! This has been recorded as a one take direct into my Fostex FD-8. Also used for the echo is an ART LTX preset reverb/echo unit…fascinating sounds…completely analogue and olde school!"
