Rare EDP Gnat Synth Modded with Bass Pedal Input

"Electronic Dream Plant came up with this minisynth as a a single-oscillator version of the famous and well loved Wasp. It has one digital oscillator and analog circuitry with a basic lowpass resonant filter, an envelope with Attack and Decay controls, an LFO which can modulate the pitch or filter, and a built-in speaker.

Like the Wasp, it has a very un-playable touch-sensitive keyboard with 25 flat mini-keys, which is where the bass pedals come in. I had this modded somewhere back in the 80s to take (as far as I remember) analogue note input from the bass pedals so there is no reason why it couldn't be re-moddded to accept MIDI input. The 15-pin D shaped plug has about 8 feet of connecting lead from pedals to synth so there is no problem sitting the Gnat on top of your keyboards to access the knobs.

There is a 9v DC input to one side of the case but this appears to be non-standard (for modern equipment anyway) and I cannot find anything that fits to test it. Similarly there is what looks like a DIN connector which was used to link other EDP equipment - again I have no means of testing this.

Please note that due to the age of this item I cannot guarantee it to be fully reliable in live situations and the item is therefore being sold "as is" for further modding. That said however, I have tested it and it still appears to function as well as ever..."
