This is a VERY cool synth app for the iPod. Tons of great features and sounds awesome. Completely usable on its own. But... it is not Akai SynthStation25 friendly. To use it with the SS25 you'll need MidiBridge. This is fine because with that you'll not only be able to play it using the SS25 keyboard (a great option in my opinion) but you'll have Octave functionality and Pitch/Mod ability at your fingertips (Megellan Jr makes full use of the Mod wheel here). And since Megellan Jr has background audio capability you can also sequence it (via midibridge) using LittleMidi on the same device. Tons of fun!
ReplyDeleteIf you don't have a SS25 I highly recommend you get one. They are sooooo worth the money. Especially for stuff like this.
