"Stepping through a few of the factory preset kits in the Waldorf RackAttack as part of a song I threw together to demonstrate how the RackAttack can be used. Besides RackAttack a Waldorf Pulse+ and various samples were used."

"There are not many synthesizers on the market that model percussion sounds specifically and this one does it in a very characteristic way. Aside from percussive sounds the RackAttack can also produce any bass, lead, pad or any other synth sound you can think of but it is focused on sound parameters that give those characteristic synth drum sounds. One example of this is the special "crackyness" parameter that gives the type of characteristics found in hand-clap sounds. The RackAttack also has very punchy frequency envelopes that can used to create bass drum sounds with a lot of oomph in them. The type of sound that the RackAttack produces is very suitable for electro, trance, tech step, neurofunk or electro house to mention a few different styles - check out the videos to get an idea for the kind for what it sounds like..."
