Monotribe Tips: Sync Out to Gate In. (Fun Rhythms!)

Published on Feb 28, 2013

"In this video again radiokoala carves out unheard of sounds out of monotribe, and also shares the fun technique he's just discovered: patching monotribe's own sync out signal back to gate in.

This allows to make some pretty interesting rhythmic effects; the trick is in enabling the inverted trigger mode in CV/gate settings -- in this mode, the gate is open not when a trigger is high, but when it is low (0V). Therefore, by patching monotribe's clock signal back to itself, when sequencer is running, one can in easy way add some nice feeling groove to a sequence!

Seemingly simple but seriously entertaining."
