Replacing Faulty Encoders On a Waldorf Blofeld Synthesizer

Published on Apr 14, 2013

"Save your synth at a low cost...

Faulty encoders are a "sickness" of many modern synths, this video shows how to replace faulty encoders and bring back your synth to life.
It also recommends the replacement encoders part number,
The suggested encoders are rated at 100,000 "clicks" (average life cycle) where as the original is rated at 15,000 only. This model shows 100% fit to Blofeld, electrically and mechanically.
Price of each encoder should be ~1.5 USD.

Working time for the whole process ~1 hour (inexperienced).

The video does not recommend you doing it by yourself - it is a electric appartus and should be treated by professionals only.
The video simply shows the process."
