The Godfather Theme [trumpet, mandola, piano]

Published on Apr 5, 2013 Didlybom·31 videos

"The Godfather themes, composed by Nino Rota in 1972 as the soundtrack of Francis Ford Coppola's mesmerizing film starring Al Pacino and Marlon Brando.

The first theme, using a solo trumpet and distorted piano, is The Godfather Waltz. The second one is the love theme. There was also a song called Speak Softly Love.

The video is out of sync, aaaaghhhh, iMovie to blame...

The instrument is a Nord Stage 2, using a sampled solo trumpet, sampled and processed mandola, and a sampled Fazioli grand piano with a hint of echo, and the usual reverb.
