Mutable Instruments Self-playing 8-bit Trancey Patch

Self-playing 8-bit trancey patch from mutable instruments on Vimeo.

"Kick: Grids ch. 1 -> Peaks

Snare/HH: Grids ch. 2 -> Peaks -> µVCA II modulated by an envelope (Quadra) triggered by the accent channel (to get amplitude variations).

Sync sound: Braids -> Ripples -> µVCA II modulated by an envelope (Quadra) triggered by Grids ch. 3. Cutoff modulation from another envelope triggered by Grids' accent channel. Timbre modulation from a Dixie II used as LFO. The Dixie II also modulates the fill rate of Grids' channel 3.

8-bit sounds: 4 channels of Edges. Channel 1 and 4 playing sequences clocked by Grids ch. 1 accent. Channel 2 and 3 playing lone notes. Sent into Echophon (though I disabled it after a while). Channel 2 is sync'ed to channel 1 and its frequency is controlled by one channel of Quadra used as a LFO.

8-bit and Sync sources mixed in Frames, with two channels of CV controlling Braids timbre and Ripples cutoff."
