"A modular synthesizer for free? Not really, you'll have to purchase some modules to have fun with it...The App is really easy to use and very well thought out. Add a module, plug in the cables in the right place, and play. (Same way as the Korg iMS20). With a pinch you can zoom in and out of desired parts of your Synth. The landscape mode will be the best for you to play on the built in keyboard...
Here are some of the features
• Audiobus and background audio modes
• CoreMIDI control with external devices or internal sequencers
• 10 octave keyboard with classically styled arpeggiator
• Record and export live performances to Soundcloud, Sonoma Audio Copy, email and iTunes file sharing
To conclude:
If you love analog sounds, and not afraid of patching your modules between them, Modular is really great.
A killer Modular Synthesiser!"
