Envelator trills & Switched on Euro Bach´s "Two Part Invention No.13"

via Daniel Anselmi on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge

"This is Malekko/Wiard Envelator doing the "ratched" function you find in sequencers of old. I use it in 'cycle' mode with the 'delay' parameter controlled by an LFO to make the 'trill' effect in some notes.

The audio chain is one half of the Cwejman VCO-2RM (exp FMed with the other half) sent to the Plan B M13 Dual Timbral Gates in "both" mode."

The M13 is opened with a Malekko/Wiard Envelator in 'cycle' mode and delay segment controlled by an LFO to make the "trill" effect in some notes.

Note and gate sequence is generated by a complex patch (no step-sequencer)"

"Switched on Euro:
Bach´s "Two Part Invention No.13" (BWV 784) MIDI sequenced and performed with my little 6U eurorack modular system.

Bass notes: Cwejman VCO-2RM + Cwejman MMF-1
High notes: The Harvestman Hertz Donuts + Malekko/Wiard Borg 2
VCAs: Cwejman VCA-4MX
Envelopes: Malekko/Wiard Envelator + Make Noise Maths
MIDI/CV: Kenton Pro-2000 MKII"

via Daniel Anselmi on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge: "after doing this I listened to the original SOB recording and was blown away by Carlos´ genius interpretation and good taste...Mine, in comparison, sounds static, robotic (in a bad way), too fast and unsensitive..."
