"this is a wonderful synth, extremely deep and versatile with a unique sound. The CEM 3389 chips and fast envelopes allow for great sounding subtractive synthesis (drums!), while use of the included wavetables can produce anything from chimes, bells and evolving pads to harsh clangorous digital noise. Using a software editor really opens things up - you can create your own wavetables algorithmically, with additive synthesis, or by deriving them from text! The modulation matrix is extensive, and making use of all 8 multitimbral voices can give really full sounding performances in real time. Just a great, great synthesizer..."
