via the listing: "The drum sounds are triggered via the inputs on the left side of the device. I used the individual outputs of a Roland drum machine as my trigger source. You can use each channel independently, or trigger them at the same time for more complex layered sounds.

I find the DS200 works best for boomy kicks and space drum toms, but I've also been able to coax hi hat and bell-ish sounds out of it by using both channels pitched up and detuned..."
