"This Shruthi has the 4-pole “Mission” filter, which is a real analog multi-mode filter that’s surprisingly flexible and sounds fantastic. Other non-standard extras on this synth include a rear-panel volume pot and a blue OLED display. The 6 left LEDs are blue and the 2 right LEDs are white, and they’ve bet set low in the chassis and dimmed so that their brightness is comfortable and compatable with the display. It’s beautiful. Sonically, it reminds me quite a bit of the PPG Wave with its crisp digital sounds, and the analog Mission filter makes it creamy and beautiful. It’s got a punchy presence that virtual analogs can’t quite nail. The only reason I’m selling it is that I just got an Ambika, which is essentially a 6-voice version with the same rich sound..."
